The Project was completed on time with an added value of ~ 12.3 million to the company.
Washington Group International – Weymouth, MA and Bay City, TX – 2001-2005 Boiler Installation Manager and Project Superintendent
Management of the installation of the boilers at Weymouth, MA, cost control, schedule, project quality, manpower loading, labor relations, and start up testing. At the South Texas Project, responsible for activity man loading, craft productivity and outage schedule adherence. The project was 7 months behind schedule at the time, set up working parameters, made personnel change and brought the schedule by to within 1 month without out added cost

Construction department performance, budget control of O&M budget ($120 million) and capitol budgets ($160 to $200 million.) Also capital presentation to board of directors, contract negotiations, all major maintenance and plant modifications, performance and overview of 700 Edison employees, craft and supervision, including project managers, construction supervisors, planners and schedulers. Reactor, SCR, 345 switch yard, coal handling conveyor system, ~ 10 miles of duct bank and process piping and barge unloading system.
ITC Erin – Stephens Project Warren, MI - Black & Veatch EPC project – valued $22 million. Included over 5 miles of underground duct bank
and the installation of 115 kv cable and fiber optic communications,
345 kv Sub Station for Roseville Electric, Roseville, CA - Black & Veatch EPC project – valued at $12 million. Construction of new 345 kv switch yard to support new power generation plant.

Generator Rebuild Project Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant Plymouth, MA - Boston Edison – CM - valued - $12.7 million, total rebuild of Pilgrim’s 750 megawatt cooling water failure and fire, negotiated bid to GE, from scratch set at the time industry
a record rebuild of eight week generator was back on line.
Boston Edison/RCN Joint Venture All Cities and Towns in Eastern MA - Boston Edison – CM – valued - $110 million, coordinated the interface between Edison and RCN in a joint venture effort for fiber optic builds out throughout the Edison service area. Permitting, engineering, bid evaluation and installation utilizing both Edison craft and Contractors.
LP Turbine Replacement Project Plymouth, MA - Boston Edison – CM – valued - $ 35 million, though a bid and negotiated process, managed the purchased and installation of two (2) low pressure rotors at Edison Pilgrim Station, through negotiations saved the company over $9 million compared to similar projects at other Utilities and finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Salt Service Water Pipe Replacement Plymouth, MA - Boston Edison – CM – valued - $22 million, underground replaced 700’ of rubber lined 22†carbon steel pipe at Pilgrim Station, out of the box thinking allowed this project to be an industry first, construction, while the plant was operating at 100% power generation, cut over redundant system, completed during a single outage saving ~ $ 15 million in replacement power and outage time.
