I have been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years in the Residential single family homes, multifamily homes, and commercial construction industry. I started in the residential construction industry for a small residential construction company in Florida, learning the business from the ground up. They specialized in custom high end single family homes and duplexes. I have been employed by companies in not only Florida but also Mississippi, Illinois, and for a brief time New Mexico.
During the years my specialty in the construction industry evolved around customer service and warranty. I started as a service representative and in time, progressing to Director of Corporate Services. I researched, developed, and wrote service and warranty manuals. Researched and developed procedures which greatly reduced the number of unnecessary service calls and at the same time educated home owners to understand the process and the importance of home owner maintenance. I have worked very closely with project superintendents bringing to their attention the problems addressed to me by homeowners and developing new techniques to prevent problems from reoccurring. I consider myself to be an expert on closing orientations/walk-through's as well as service and warranty. In my career I have completed over two thousand home owner orientations/walk through's. I have taken several seminars/continued education classes on service and warranty. Many with a company by the name of “Home Address†conducted by Carol Smith one of the leading authorities on residential service and warranty in my opinion.
As a Director of Corporate Services I was also responsible for areas such as, Fleet Management which included purchase, maintenance, monitor fuel usage and accounts, Employee Benefits Program, acting HR Director for about one year, Corporate Security, Communications Manager, and responsible for maintaining, distributing, and monitoring corporate charge accounts used by company employees.
I believe I demonstrate and place high value on being dependable, honest, and loyal, with the drive to be the best I can be and to contribute to the success of the company I represent in being the best it can be.
I am open to relocating to whatever area you would require my services. And I would be willing to travel when necessary.
I thank you for reviewing my resume and look forward to communicating with you in the future.
