Ø I am passionate about solving problems. As Chief Estimator I implemented new estimating software and a database to simplify the estimating process. As a result I doubled the productivity of my team.
Ø I am an experienced detailed estimator with good judgment. I set up systems and procedures for bidding projects that allow me to successfully bid and was awarded over $550 MILLION worth of contracts.
Ø I have the ability to adapt to new situations. I created a database containing potential subcontractors. By implementing this database I was able to consistently contact over 4,000 subcontractors which substantially increased their participation on bids.
Ø I can visualize complex systems, I have developed a system of modeling building costs that relates design features into easy to understand budget costs. Recently I used this model to instill enough confidence in a client to award an 8.5 million dollar project.
