--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Walker Contracting Group 10/13/08- 12/12/2009 General Contracting Superintendent 1300 Tunnel Road Ashville, NC 28805 This project was a 2 story Walgreens is in Hendersonville, NC. Before the ground work could begin, 3 buildings on site needed to be cleared, 2 of which were asbestos laden. All was disposed of per state requirements, as well as proper disposal of 2- 1,000 gallon underground fuel tanks and all contaminated fill, per EPA guidelines. After the site was cleared we removed 5 feet of fill and installed 239 timber piles, reinstalled fill with 9’’ layers of ABC with 4 layers of geo-grid. I then proceeded with the 15,000 sq. ft. 2 story building, with elevator. This particular job was plagued with architectural & structural issues which hampered the schedule. These issues have now been corrected, and Walgreens has accepted the store. Final fixtures and the punch list is all that remains for completion. As this company has nothing on the boards at this time, I have been released to seek employment elsewhere.

This project consisted of a 45,000 sq. ft. tilt wall warehouse. I have been overseeing all aspects, from underground, ground-up to finish phases. This also includes interior partitioning and build out for individual bays that are to be leased upon completion. This project has approx. 4 weeks to tenant move in. As the end of August comes closer, this project will be nearing completion and I will be looking forward to my next employment opportunity, as this was a one project deal.

This was an eight story, 36 unit condominium project that includes 1st and 2nd floor parking, with an aboveground pool on the 3rd floor. It has 11 varied floor plans, built as per owner specs. My duties included coordinating activities and change orders between owner, architects, engineers, project manager, and company owner. I also ordered all rebar, concrete and all post tension cables. I dealt with all applications. I started this project from the ground up, and was in charge of all site work, site development, and all underground. This included managing subs, and sub crews. This project was completed in budget and on time. Next project started was for Florida Institute of Technology (F.I.T), and in this first phase consists of three five story student dorms with shell consisting of hollow core planks. My responsibilities were from the ground-up with all interior, exterior, utilities, landscaping and parking included. All underground utilities completed to date, with asphalt pending. On-going phases include HVAC, framing, electrical, & plumbing for each of the three buildings.

I took this job to help out a family member, with the understanding that I would be doing this one project for them to completion, then moving on to a more permanent position with a good company. The project consisted of a 5 story bank building with a penthouse suite on the 5th floor. My duties were to insure all aspects of the concrete shell were completed to the specifications and per plans. I maintained a 20 employee crew, as well as over-seeing all concrete, steel, crane, and various other aspects of this project. At completion, I next started on 2- 3 story office buildings that included all concrete shell forming, all masonry aspects, steel, pre-cast joists and concrete decking.

As Superintendent I was in charge of a 50,000 sq ft Winn Dixie grocery store, with an attached 6,000 sq ft tenant build-out. This project took place in an existing shopping center that was also being retro- fitted with all new underground utilities, plus a new parking lot. All progress of construction was done in phases. After completion of all I demo'ed the existing 60,000 sq ft Winn Dixie, after which all underground utilities, storm, and remainder of parking lot was completed. The next project was a 54,000 sq ft grocery store (Stuart Fine Foods), which I brought out of the ground, and was also in charge of all structural steel, bar joists, block, and rebar to roof dry in.

I supervised all phases of construction and schedule maintenance.
