I worked with the client on the design process and the City on permit approvals. In addition, I managed construction operations that included bid document preparation, bidding, reviewing submittals, performing change orders and field changes, and attending construction meetings and construction observations.

I designed a 12” raw water line and new transfer pumps, along with preparation of construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I also designed a site plan to add a membrane filtration system to an existing water treatment plant. This included drainage calculations, water quality calculations, building layout, parking layout, piping design, ground storage tank design, site grading, storm sewer design, water model design, storm water lift station and force main design, retaining wall design and slope analysis. I prepared construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I prepared bid documents and executed contracts along with managing construction services.
Harris County WCID No. 36:
The infrastructure in Harris County was over 50 years old and needed to be completely rehabilitated. I performed the design on the rehabilitation of the water distribution system, wastewater collection system, lift stations, force mains, and elevated storage tanks. I prepared construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I prepared bid documents and executed contracts for construction. I reviewed submittals, pay requests, and change orders. The multiple project budgets totaled over $30 Million.
City of Pasedena, Texas:
The City of Pasadena was in need of water capacity expansion to meet new government regulations. I designed five (5) new elevated storage tanks and water distribution, along with preparation of construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I prepared construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I prepared bid documents and executed contracts along with managing construction services.
City of Dripping Springs, Texas:
The City of Dripping Springs wanted a regional wastewater collection system for their downtown area to replace aging and leaking septic systems. I performed the design on the wastewater collection system, lift stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment plant with drip irrigation fields. I prepared construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. I prepared bid documents and executed contracts for construction. I reviewed submittals, pay requests, and change orders.
The Belterra, Ledge Stone, and HighPointe Subdivisions in Dripping Springs, Texas:
All master planned residential and commercial subdivisions. In all subdivisions, I prepared the permit application to the TCEQ for a wastewater discharge permit, designed the master layout of the wastewater collection system, water distribution system and developed the storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP). I also put together a permit application to the TCEQ for an Edwards Aquifer Contributing Zone permit. I delineated the master drainage areas, creek setback zones and prepared construction plans and engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs and bid documents along with executed contracts. In addition, I managed all construction operations, reviewed submittals, pay requests, change orders, and field changes.
