Oversee the daily operations of K-12 construction and renovation projects with a combined total of $125 million. Responsibilities included coordinating the installation, set-up and removal of temporary classroom and administrative spaces, conducting daily job-site inspections, maintaining records of work in progress and project issues, coordinating all work with school staff and administration, review and distribute all RFIs, RFPs, and Submittals, review and approve monthly pay applications, negotiate pricing for Change Proposals, anticipate and address potential issues with work to be performed, schedule and chair all project progress meetings, schedule, coordinate and conduct all walkthroughs from substantial completion of area to final occupancy inspection, providing weekly and monthly progress reports to the Superintendent of Schools and School Board officials.
Project History:
•On-site manager of a $5.5 million high school renovation and $1.8 million dollar roof replacement. Projects were awarded under separate contracts, with separate General Contractors but completed concurrently. Roof replacement consisted of the complete removal of four different types of roofing systems. School renovation consisted of extensive HVAC upgrades and installation, including the replacement of the existing boiler system and installation of new chiller tower, air handling unit and A/C units in all spaces. Renovation work was conducted while the school was fully operational and occupied. Both projects were completed within schedule and budget.
•Brought in to provide close-out support during the final stages of the construction of a $117 million K-12 school complex. Responsible for coordinating and supervising playground equipment and landscaping installation crews. Responsible for securing and supervising moving crews to relocate furniture and equipment from the old schools and office spaces to the new site.

Responsibilities included conducting daily job site walkthroughs and inspections, scheduling and coordinating required third party inspections, drafted, routed and reviewed all contract documents including RFIs, RFPs and Change Proposals, reviewed and approved pay applications, reviewed and approved project completion schedules, coordinating work with school administration, chaired project progress meetings, coordinated and conducted all walkthroughs from substantial completion of areas to final occupancy inspection, developed and presented monthly project progress reports during School Board meetings.
Project History:
•Projects consisted of extensive architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC renovations to the existing high school complex, as well as the construction of a new gymnasium, locker room and supporting athletic facilities, classroom wing, administrative wing and library. Contracts were awarded to three separate General Contractors but were run concurrently. School complexes were located in the northern, southern and central areas of the county, which required travelling to each site on a daily basis. All projects involved the complete removal of all asbestos containing material, which was managed under separate contracts with different contractors. All three schools were renovated while fully occupied, without the use of temporary classroom facilities. Projects were completed on time and within schedule with zero contingency funds available at the beginning of the project.
