I am writing in response to your online job advertisement. I believe that with my training and experience in technical systems, I have the skills needed to fulfill and exceed the responsibilities of the position. Please find enclosed my resume for your consideration.
I have obtained an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology from York Technical Institute in Electronics Technology. I was able to maintain a 3.72 GPA, student of the term 3 times, and student teacher aid / tutor while working approximately 25 hours a week for the Institute to gain more knowledge and experience in electronics. After York Technical Institute I continued my studies at Gichner Mobile Systems (an Internship training course). I also have 12 years experience in property maintenance at Wallace Real Estate. My training has given me experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electronics troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
I would also bring to your organization a strong work ethic and proven track record of dependability. My employer can count on me to prioritize tasks and work with little or no supervision to complete projects. As a field service technician, I was required to maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers to resolve industrial printing problems. Additionally, as I visited customer sites I was able to learn new systems quickly.
My combination of training and experience would make me an ideal candidate for this position. Would you consider my request for an interview to discuss my qualifications further? I can be reached at shancrou[at]live.com or (717) 634-0626 to arrange an interview at your convenience.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Mr. Shannon Crouse
