I want to continue to grow and learn within the construction industry. I hope to join the team of a strong and dependable company that I can stay with and progress upwards in the industry.
I am a personable, loyal, and dedicated individual who has an ambition to succeed in any given environment. Although I have extensive experience in administrative customer service, I love to learn, and am always up to new challenges and experiences. Position: Estimator Final Salary: $50,000.00 per year plus bonuses
Responsibilities: Estimating projected construction costs for new commercial and retail projects. I am familiar with new construction as ground-up, shell buildings, and tenant finish-outs. I am also familiar with remodels and renovations for stand alone buildings as well as tenant lease spaces. As the estimator, I produced costs estimates based on estimations and projections as well as “hard bids” from sub-contractors. I also organized detailed proposals for clients and owners. I communicated with sub-contractors as well as clients in person, on the phone, and via email. I also worked in the field when necessary for smaller projects. Extensive daily use of Word, Excel and Outlook was necessary for this position. We also used an Excel based digitizer for plan estimates and take-offs.

The Fullfillment House – Dallas, Texas
Contact: Unavailable (Company closed)
Position: Account Executive and Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities: As an account executive, I dealt directly with clients, trained and managed in-bound customer service personnel, and managed inventory levels. I managed 7-14 projects at a time with 10-20 customer service operators. I had weekly conference calls as well as monthly meetings with clients to keep them informed on the status of their projects. When new projects arrived, I produced training manuals and guidelines for each project based on the clients overall wishes for the direction of each project. I then selected and trained customer service operators for each new project.
GOAL
I am very interested in continuing my experience in the construction industry. I would like to return to college to complete a degree in Construction Management and progress into project management and operations management. My long term goal is to eventually open my own general contracting company.
