Through out my career I have always maintained a high quality of work in accordance
with all applicable codes and quality workmanship. When working as a foreman the responsibilities included
everything from coordinating with other trades, maintaining proper amounts of proper staffing, and proper materials on the job site to complete the jobs in a timely manner and on schedule.
I began my career at Loyola Electrical as an apprentice. I have worked in many locations for extended periods
of time at various facilities of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, University of Illinois at Chicago hospital and research laboratories, various Public Schools, commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities. I was taught how to layout a job, bend conduit of all types, motor controls and centers, and fire alarm systems. In addition to
installation of general services which included distribution and sub-panels, emergency lighting and general power and lighting. Upon completion of my apprenticeship I was immediately promoted to foreman.
As a foreman I received additional schooling through the EAC as an estimator and for a few months was the
sole estimator for Loyola Electrical. I also received additional schooling through Journeyman night school
in fire alarm systems and telecommunications. When I was employed with Comptec Electrical the work
was primarily motor control at the Coca-Cola plant, 7-Up plant, Nabisco Bakery and Culligan Water.
The work there consisted of installation of machinery, conveyor systems and controls. When I was employed
with Kettler Electric work consisted of commercial remodeling of various buildings in downtown Chicago this included back up generators and elevator machine rooms maintenance work in high schools and parking lot lighting upgrades. During my employment with Randel Electric the work was a commercial build out in downtown Chicago. My employment with Meany Electric consisted mainly of fire alarm upgrades in various Oak Park Public Elementary Schools. During my time at Power and Lighting Systems work was a remodel of a medical/dental facility in Chicago and renovation of the emergency room at Hines V.A Hospital.
