To continue in construction project management and Operations
I am a Construction professional for Heavy Civil, Building Renovation and New Building construction, Industrial, Transportation, airport, infrastructure, process plant, utility plant, structural steel, and concrete construction projects in the United States and International locations. I have a track record of successful management of all phases of Industrial, mechanical, utility, petroleum storage and distribution, earthwork, heavy commercial, and institutional buildings. I have completed major new construction and renovation including structural and code compliant upgrades, ADA, tenant re-fit, to include renovation of operating facilities with nominal disruption to the on-going operations.
I have significant experience with institutional, office, heavy commercial, industrial buildings, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and logistics. My government experience has included Navy and Army base building renovation and new construction, laboratory, classroom, multifamily housing and quarters, airport, lighting, building, estimating, and material management. This included pre-construction (estimating, design review, project start-up) and construction activities (safety, quality control, schedule, operations, and cost).
My experience has developed from a solid understanding of Engineering, my highest regard for the safety for the project, a desire to produce the highest Quality of work, accurate schedule development and management, and an inherent knowledge of operational activities for cost control. I have managed projects and operations on major projects from Millions of Dollars to $800 million with 75% of the projects based on Lump Sum, Firm Fixed Price Contracts.
My Degree is in Engineering and physical sciences (University of Maryland) with a concentration in foundation engineering and transportation and advanced studies in Foundations and Construction Management. I have held a TS Security Clearance with no issues to encumber a renewal. I will relocate as required on a temporary or permanent basis.

Project Highlights
$70 million New Central Utility Plant for McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, NV  (2008 to 2010)
Operations Manager for Acero Group providing Technical Coordination, Quality Control, and Commissioning Management with The PENTA Building Group for this 26,000 Ton heating, cooling, and electric transfer facility with back-up diesel electric generation. The building structure involved significant design/build and engineering coordination for footings and foundations, reinforced concrete walls, isolated dynamically loaded equipment pads, slabs on grade and elevated slabs, tilt-up concrete walls, structural steel, major pipe stress analysis and pipe support systems and controls.
I provided construction surveillance and technical coordination for the installation of the state of the art chillers and boilers and the associated piping and controls to completion including monitoring electrical installation, welding, structural steel, schedule, and commissioning of the complete system. Additionally I provided key management for the electrical distribution, paralleling switch gear, emergency diesel generation system sequencing and start-up.
$56 Million Nationwide Major Motor freight distribution and service Centers USA  2000 to 2007
Operations Management for a Nationwide construction program for Truck Freight Distribution and Service Centers. Managing multiple projects in new construction, renovation, and design throughout the USA, Canada, and Mexico I was responsible for due diligence and site assessment, budget development, design assist and design/build management, Vendor and subcontractor selection, permits, and supervising multiple projects with the on-site project managers through the construction phase.
