PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1) URS - WASHINGTON E&C ROMANIA
Period : From April 2006 to July 2009
Position : Planner & Scheduler Analyst
As Cost Analyst I was assigned on Gleason Combined Cycle Plant (a power work share project with Princeton-USA office) during January 2009 – July 2009.
During this period I was also exposed to PRISM training on the job for developing Monthly Cost Reports.
As Scheduler on Petro Canada Utilities & Offsite project I was assigned to the Denver office – Colorado for 15 months (July 2007- September 2007 and January 2008 – December 2008) and I was part of the schedulers team supporting the FEED and EPC schedules development from scratch.
I was exposed to the Primavera 6.0 environment on the job for supporting the EPC schedule on Petro Canada Project. My main experience as a scheduler was to create and update the engineering and the procurement activities of the schedule but I was also involved in some construction areas activities.
I also maintained an accurate Procurement Requisition List monitoring the materials and equipment status while reviewing with the Procurement Department the dates for delivery on site.
Period : From Feb. 2004 to April 2006
Position : Project Controls-Cost Analyst
During this period I was relocated again to General Motors-Nuovo Pignone office (Florence Italy). I have been part of the project controls team consolidating my experience as a scheduler and cost analyst. I maintained a close working relationship with project leads to support and co-ordinate Project Controls (scheduling and cost) reports and activities. I started using Prolog software for issuing monthly cost client reports.
2) WASHINGTON GROUP ROMANIA (former Raytheon)
Period : From March 2003 to February 2004
Position : Planner Engineer
I joined the Project Controls department starting my experience as a planner & scheduler and I was relocated to General Motors-Nuovo Pignone office (Florence Italy) for several months. This foreign experience gave me the opportunity to interface with a dynamic team working on several projects at the same time developing and maintaining a schedule for each of them.
Period : From December 2001 to March 2003
Position : Civil Engineer
I had my first foreign assignment to General Motors-Nuovo Pignone office (Florence Italy) for 3 months. I was also involved in work on a project “Water supply system in rural areas for Romanian villages” as a part of an engineering team.
Period : From July 1999 to December 2001
Position : Project Administrative Assistant
I supported several oil & gas projects (Lost Cabin Gas Plant, Petromidia Crude and gas oil loading/unloading unit, etc) as an Administrative Assistant issuing reports, letters, meeting minutes, handling and distributing emails, faxes, technical documentation, coordinating travel and accommodation.
3) TRANSDATA SA
Period : From May 1997 to July 1999
Position : Engineer
I supported the engineering activity developing a GSM network in Romania.
