Each level was approximately 86000 sf with a total addition of 784 parking spaces. Other components of the garage included elevators, precast panels, glass curtain walls and site work.

Apartment Project, Rochester, NY
Position: Superintendent
Supervised a $16,000,000 multifamily, low income apartment project in the City of Rochester. The project was a 22 story high rise, concrete building containing 526 residential apartments with approximately 86,000 sf of first floor commercial space. The scope included the renovations of each apartment including new windows, cabinets, flooring, paint, plumbing and electrical fixtures. There were approximately 1200 windows replaced, 277 balconies repaired with concrete patching materials. There were 44 corridors renovated to include fire alarm upgrades, emergency exit and lighting, security system, emergency call system and finishes. There were also a complete overhaul of four elevators which included motors, controllers, cables and processors. The existing underground parking garage was repaired to include water jetting and repairing the concrete structure. Exterior work included landscaping, fencing, lighting and awnings. The entire heating system was replaced adding new boilers and heating units to the building. The entire project was completed in less than one year while the building was occupied.
Responsibilities during the design stage included working with the owner and architect to develop budges, provide constructability reviews and plan construction methods and sequencing to allow the renovations to progress while tenants occupied the building. I also provided specification and plan review, prepared bid packages, scopes of work and work summaries. A lot of planning went into accessing the building with two exteriors lifts for construction materials handling, relocating tenants while the work was being done, and the overall construction process of completing the work on schedule. Planning also went into working around asbestos containing materials in the window sealant and the existing popcorn sprayed ceilings. The building was brought up to current codes and included the conversion of units to meet handicap accessibility.
Responsibilities as a supervisor included the detailed coordination of all the subcontractors, organizing all owner and subcontractor meetings, preparing change orders, reviewing and processing all submittals, maintaining overall schedule, handling all correspondence, completing the punchlist and project closeout.
