Prepared asphalt samples and tested them for rutting susceptibility, shear stress, viscosity, tensile strength ratio, and other performance characteristics that may occur in the climate and weather situations in southern Louisiana. I ran G.C. tests on asphalt cement samples, both aged and un-aged. Oversee day to day operations of the Asphalt Lab which entailed keeping the various testing machines, control systems, and hydraulic pumps running and in good working order. Specialized in Superpave Technology.
