As a Journeyman Tool and Diemaker, I have accumlated a wide range of experience. I am able to process, quote, design and build progressive and line dies. I have built, gages, fixtures, and special machines. I am very good in die repair as well. I have been a Tool Room Foreman, Engineering and Tooling Manager and General Manager of a Stamping and Tool and Die Company. I am proficient on all standard tool room equipment and can work to very high tolerance dimensions. I am quite familiar with all standard inspection tooling. I have experience in engineering for processing, estimating, tooling and stamping. I work very well with everyone, whether it on the floor as a Tool and Diemaker, Die Leader, Tool and Die Room Foreman or Manager.

As Estimating Engineer, I was responsible for processing and quoting medium to large progressive and line dies. Line dies for both mechanical and robotic transfer dies. As part of the estimating department some of our projects included large assembly packages including complete dash assemblies, floor pans, front and rear cradles and suspension modules for both Chrysler and GM. The die costs alone on some of these packages were in excess of 15 million dollars. My experience as a tool and diemaker played a key role in this position.

As Die Room Foreman, I was responsible for the building of all new progressive and line dies, gages and fixtures.I was then promoted to the position of Engineering and Tooling Manager. I was in charge of not only the Die Room, but the engineering department as well. It was my job to approve die designs, and current company tooling procedures. I developed and taught the diemakers proper "in-die" repair procedures and set up die maintenance and die set up programs which saved the company a great deal of time and money.
