Qualifications:
My background is in the electrical field and is versatile; I have worked in
Manufacturing and also in the construction field. I returned to school in the
Spring of 2000-2003 to upgrade my electronic skills. I feel my talents would be best used in a manufacturing plant, or as a field service technician.

Plc’s, Allen Bradley Logix family ~ controllers 5000-5555 ,Slc-500 ,Plc -3 & 5 also plc 150 Modicon - [ AEG ] plcs. Establish communication through network,clear various faults, program glitches ,toggle bits . Use plc 's diagnostic tool's on machine breakdowns., to reestablish production .Edit programs, upload programs install revisions on program.
Variable speed drives - Allen Bradley & Toshiba set up units,adjust parameters,test and run. Photo electrics, have used Op-Con & Banner; install for counting and conveyor control. Machine inputs& out outputs to plc’s. Proximity switches, I have used Effector & Allen-Bradley, capacitive & inductive Switches as inputs to plc’s and for relay logic sequencing.

This facility is an engine manufacturing plant,they produce inline six cylinder diesel engines. We currently are producing engines for the US military, for there mrap vehicle being used in Iraq and sold on the international market. We also produce engines used in trucks and school buses. We sell a different version with relaxed EPA standards sold in Mexico and in developing countries. I am employed as an electrician on there third shift. I work on the manufacturing floor my job is to keep the production machines operational. I work on Lamb CNC machining centers, gantry based drilling centers GM Morley machines. I use plcs and testers and electrical prints to accomplish this
These machines utilize Allen Bradley Logix 5000 – 5555, also Modicon plc controllers on the gantry section of machines. Machine list - Kerr washers, Indramat grinders At the final stage of the production cells we use a windows based live engine test, before engines are prepped for painting and final assembly. We also use robots to check production standards on crank lines and as a final pre ship component check. RFID conveyor systems are used through out plant.

Department of Defense at Great Lakes Naval Training Center 02-2002- 8-29-02
The public works department electrical shop employed me. We performed electrical maintenance at the various buildings on this Naval base. Including HVAC control work at the hospital on the base.
We did some construction but it was minor in scope .My pay grade was a WG -10 journeyman
