 West Point Pepperell acquired Bond Cote in 1984. I remained as Vice President/General Manager under the new ownership and relocated to West Point, Ga. I was responsible for the overall planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the operations of the division. I built a management team to service the U.S. and Canada. I worked directly with Contractors and Architects. Increased sales from $500,000 to over $8,000,000. Also worked with International Division of West Point Pepperell to introduce our products to several foreign countries. I served on the A.S.T.M. (American Society for Testing of Materials) sub committee D-08 (Waterproofing and Roofing materials). I was appointed Chairman of the task group to write an A.S.T.M. Standard Specification for N.B.P. type Single Ply Membranes. Served on S.P.R.I. (Single Ply Roofing Institute) and Chaired several committees which wrote standard specifications for these products with accompanying application guidelines. Chairman of the S.P.R.I. Code Liaison Committee, which worked with all major Nationally recognized building code agencies to include the new waterproofing and roofing membranes into their respective building codes. Served on the Board of Directors of S.P.R.I.
