Leader for Washington Public Power Supply System WPPS-3 Reactor and

Responsible for supervision and technical guidance of a design group.
Duties ranged from piping isometric design for stress analysis by
computer and hand calculations, design layout, CAD input review and
corrections to HVAC, cable trays, conduits and piping redesigns. My
position also included ensuring proper structural functions, structural
and frequency integrity, and constructability incorporating client
comments and vendor feedback. Job site experience comprised of wind
load design, new designs and walk-down inspections, recommending
modifications and troubleshooting to avoid interference with other
plant equipment.

Design experience included mill expansion, facilities planning,
equipment layout and hydraulics, HVAC sizing and layout, dust
collection, material handling and air pollution control. Assisted in
the design of a manually operated venturi separator for air pollution
control for use by Perm Glass Sand Corp. Florida . Group leader in
charge of a mill expansion and installation of three separators. In
1971 I took over responsibility of a large piping job when the Project
Engineer took ill.
