Construction Project Management
• Manage all stages of construction for commercial and industrial projects including cost estimates, bid packages and proposals, take offs, sub-contractor selection and contract negotiations.
• Perform and audit project needs assessment including project schedules, engineering, insurance, document filings, permits, materials purchase, labor costs, job cost reporting, equipment, turnover packages, and more.
• Evaluate project documents and blueprints for discrepancies and value engineering ideas; assess and create detailed scope of work, and determine project objectives, schedules, procedures and quality standards.
• Manage contractor and subcontractors on the job; coordinate inspections by the proper authorities, ensuring that construction is in line with the building specifications.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals and provide support to management in proposal and estimate preparation; budget projects / change orders. Support and collaborate with architects and engineers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with city and county building departments, subcontractors, and key personnel, and coordinate all utility activities.
• Implement QA/QC assurance procedures to make sure that all stages and phases of the project are executed as per specifications using good workmanship to meet or exceed the customer job performance criteria.
• Monitor and control project safety, quality, budgets, direct costs and schedules.
