PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
AECOM (DOD Contractor) Taji, Iraq 2008 - 2010
Director of Operations - Responsible for project logistics from award thru completion including equipment (approval, delivery and installation),daily and overall project resource scheduling, daily operations, construction, commissioning and Depot transition to Iraqi Army. Prepared and presented weekly brief to MNSTC, PMO and DCMA. Identified, analyzed, briefed and worked with the PMO, AMC and DCMA to resolve project issues such as electrical power, Class IX part shortages, equipment infrastructure and equipment substitutions. Participated in weekly IA briefing. Participated in scheduled and unscheduled daily meetings with USG PM, COR, MNSTC, USACE, AMC, DCMA and visiting US Army staff. Developed and implemented commissioning program and contractor transition program. Coordinated transition with MNSTC, PMO, AMC and IA. Prepared and updated project schedule. Identified, analyzed, advised and presented path forward to USG for schedule impact items. Identified issues, developed and presented alternate plans, value engineering estimates (ROM) and proposals to PMO and finally change orders to DCMA for project mission changes.
Supervised a staff of 6 managers and 50 plus associates consisting of EXPATS, Iraqis and multinational (TCN) personnel.
RMS (DOD Contractor) Taji, Iraq 2007 - 2008
Construction Manager - Duties include project logistics, design development, prepare and update project schedules, invoicing, project site supervision, subcontract bidding, awarding and management, conduct weekly USACE project meeting, operation of CMATT power plant, prepared estimates and proposals for new MATOC project bids. Presented weekly brief for PMO regarding CMATT power plant. Random briefs of project progress to MNSTC, USACE, AECOM and PM. Buildings constructed and renovated were phase 3 of the 7 phase Taji Maintenance Depot Development Plan. Subcontracted to and supervised Iraqi and Middle East subcontractors and workers.
• CMATT Construction Projects: Conception thru completion construction of 5 new warehouses, 5 new army barracks and latrines, renovation of 20 existing industrial buildings and concrete paving projects used in the above AECOM Taji Maintenance Depot for USACE. Project sizes varied from $1 to $15 million.
• AFCAP Projects: Preparation of Engineering Studies of Taji Wastewater and Water Treatment Plants and prepare designs, bill of materials and estimates for Work Order Projects on the coalition side. Projects included existing building renovations, miscellaneous concrete and structural steel projects and site civil projects.

Construction Engineer - Responsibilities include site inspections, building inspections, USACE coordination, shop drawing review and design clarifications.
• 3 New Housing Developments(150 units each) and 3 Apartment Buildings(300 units each): Each project consisted of clearing, site grading/fill, retaining walls, lake walls, underground utilities, asphalt paving, Waste Water Treatment Plant, water well and pumping station and wood frame house and/or 3 story apartment building construction.

Site Project Manager - Responsible for entire project including logistics, permits, quality, safety, subcontract management, change orders, field construction, schedule, pay requisitions, architect/engineer communications and close out.
• Lambertville Senior Housing: Lambertville, New Jersey - 87-unit, 4 story wood structure including complex site work. $60 million,
• Pier Village: Long Branch, New Jersey – Oceanfront 230-unit high-end condominiums, commercial space and club-house. Included three, four story wood framed residential buildings with commercial space on the ground floor and a separate two story steel structure restaurant and clubhouse building with roof top pool. $200 million.
• 50 Columbus: Jersey City, New Jersey – 30 story, stepped, concrete structure, brick and stone facade mixed use high-rise building including commercial spaces on the ground floor, 200 residential units and parking structure. $225 Million.
• Portofino: Jersey City, New Jersey – 29 story, concrete structure, brick and stone facade mixed use high-rise building including commercial spaces on the ground floor, 160 residential units and parking structure. $175 million.

Senior Project Manager - Responsibilities included all aspects of the project construction from proposal thru completion. Including bottom line responsibility, proposal preparation and estimating, budget management, subcontract award and management, permits, construction, client relationships, change orders and client and subcontractor weekly meetings. Supervised and office staff of four and numerous field supers.
• 75 Varick: New York City - Construct award winning entrance lobby, new elevators, building façade renovation, Power substation, tenant build outs and other major building life safety improvements. $40 million
• 75 Broad: New York City - Construct new lobby, new elevators, building façade renovation, Power vault, tenant build outs, emergency power generator installations and other major building life safety improvements. $100 million.
• McCarter Highway Telecom Building: Newark, NJ – Interior building renovations, power vault installation and tenant build-outs. $45 million

• Austin Sewage Treatment Plant – Austin, Texas - Major renovation of the existing plant to double its capacity and added a Hyacinth plant green house.
