Recently relocated to the Hampton Roads region of Virginia to be near family. I am looking for new professional home and a position that offers an opportunity to share and apply my professional civil and environmental consulting engineering experiences. As my recent relocation is largely motivated by quality of life and family decisions rather than continued professional civil and environmental consulting engineering career development, I prefer the opportunity to get back to more hands-on design engineering, project management, and/or construction activities.
William R. Dodge, PE

Site development-related projects vary from small to moderately-sized commercial, institutional, and residential subdivisions/site plans to major planned and mixed-use developments. Solid waste disposal projects include new site design and permitting, expansions, and closures. Hazardous waste and brown fields remediation project involvement includes: remedial investigation; feasibility study; remedial design for consolidation, closure, and groundwater/leachate collection/treatment; and post-closure operations support.
Notable accomplishments: Developed practical expertise in hydrology, surface water and pipe hydraulics, floodplain management, and general constructability-related topics. Primary designer of a unique collection system for removing PCB-contaminated oil from within a hazardous waste landfill which was implemented and proven to perform as designed. Contributed to the evaluation of changed field conditions and construction claims. Experience level is sufficient to be sought-out to trouble-shoot designs and constructed works. Provide meaningful quality assurance and quality control reviews of design documents. Mentor technical staff to apply systems design methods and constructability considerations.
