Dear HR;
As an accomplished superintendent who has been in the construction industry for 15+ years, I bring experience and knowledge to the table. I take pride in completing a job on time and under budget. With company’s running so lean in this day and age it is important that the superintendent think outside of the box and is able to stand alone.
Having been in the low bid arena with building schools you learn to work with unfamiliar faces and work ethics knowing that schools are going to open. Schedules are a template to get to the end result and sometimes the critical path goes a different direction. To be more cost effective I think of a job as spending your own money to make a budget work. Working with the project manager prior to contracts is also a plus just to make sure everything is covered.
It is always helpful to recognize that the relationship between the company’s representative, architect, owner and engineer is extremely important. Makes getting answers faster and easier. It also helps when the IOR or the city inspector is working with you instead of against you.
I am confident that my successful leadership in the field would be a benefit for your company. If you agree that I would be a benefit for your operation please call or email to arrange an interview. Thank you for your time, and I am looking forward to speaking with you.
Respectfully,
Steve Henne
