To assess, evaluate, and provide, social services that are administered by the Office of Family Support to clients/applicants. These programs include Support Enforcement, Disability Determinations, Head Start, Food Stamps, and Family Independence Temporary Assistance (FITAP); FIND Work, Child Care Assistance and Electronic Benefits Transfer. To determine appropriate Federal funding sources to be used in offsetting State General Funds for funding child care costs. Interprets and applies complex federal, state and local laws and regulations, program directives, and agency policies and procedures. Interviews clients/applicants to obtain information assess employment and educational history, work abilities, training interests and to determine support services needed. Serves as case manager for assigned caseload; records findings, recommendations and services provided; completes case record forms and necessary correspondence in connection with assigned cases. Explains program to applicants and discusses rules and procedures; assesses clients willingness and ability to comply with program mandates; identifies barriers to participation and selects resources to eliminate these barriers. Develops the FIND Work Employability Plan and negotiates a written agreement between the participant and the agency. Implements service plans for participants by scheduling and assisting in making applications for various services. Services may include education programs, counseling, and job search. Monitors program participation to determine participant’s compliance and takes appropriate action to insure that participant fulfills their program obligation. May assist with and represent the agency on client appeals and appeal hearings. Compiles Summary of Evidence and other agency documentation. Performs investigative function of child support cases in the area of absent parent location. Serves as court liaison for the agency in coordination of docket scheduling, affidavit completion, case testimony, judicial reviews, etc. Then prepares and submits appropriate documents for court proceedings.
Makes field contact or conducts a claimant conference by telephone interview, or face to face on every potential denial and partially favorable determination to fully explain the process to applicant/claimant.

Recorded and evaluated various pertinent data. Assisted public with filing complaints for U.S. Department of Labor EEOC/FCCOP for alleged violations. Training, development and education specialists, conducted and supervised enrollment in approved training, development and education programs for job seekers and others interested in furthering their knowledge, skills and abilities through (WIA) Workforce Investment Act programs as well other programs of funding and grants federal and state. Increased management and facilitation recognizing that training offers a way of developing skills, enhancing productivity and quality of work, and building worker loyalty to the employers, and most important, increased individual and organizational performance to achieve economic and business results. Facilitated Training that is widely accepted as an employer/employee benefit and a method of improving employee morale, and enhancing employee skills that evolves into a business imperative.
