I am a goal-oriented seasoned project Superintendent with many successful completed projects. I am searching for a Superintendent/ Field Project Manager position that would allow me to grow and build with the opportunity for advancement.

2008-2010 Project Superintendent – Sun Real Estate LLP. (based in Indianapolis, jobsite in
Palmdale, Ca.)
Responsible for all aspects of building a luxury 7 story full service hotel. This includes review, approval, and distribution of all submittals. Sole person responsible for
generation of all RFI’s along with implementation of the direction given. Coordination of all subcontractors onsite as well as coordination with both the city and local fire
departments. Contract and change order review and implementation. Schedule generation as well as schedule compliance enforcement. Quality control enforcement of all trades. Administer and enforce all safety guidelines through duration of project.
2006-2007 Senior Project Superintendent ~ Illig Construction (Los Angeles, Ca.)
Responsible for all aspects of construction from proofing conceptual drawings, to development of a buildable package for the client. Involved in bidding, letting contracts to subs, and completion of the project. Attend pre-job walks In order to develop best course of construction. Maintain a good working relationship with clients, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors. Maintain constant supervision of all trades and enforcement of building code practices as well as enforce strict quality control. Handled my own submittals, budgets, and closeout of projects. Approve my own contracts, change orders and write and maintain my own schedules and logs. I modernized several schools for Illig, modernized a church in Rancho Santa Margarita as well as estimating some jobs and putting some final packages together.
2005- 2006 Senior Construction Manager ~ Summit Builders (Lakewood, Ca.)
Accountable for all aspects of construction from bidding to scheduling, to completion of projects. Liaison between architects, clients, and Summit’s project managers. Maintained constant field supervision of all trades and enforcement of building code practices while enforcing the highest level of quality control standards. Handled schedules, submittals, contracts, budgets, all logs, and closeout of projects. I Built a three story hospital for Summit while employed with them. This is where I have had the bulk of my OSHPOD experience.
2003-2005 Senior Project Superintendent~ M.S. Walker And Associates Inc. (Bakersfield, Ca)
Responsible for all aspects of completion of our design build projects from the ground up including buildability planchecking and revisions, soils preparation and
pad certification, pouring slab, and supervision of all building trades and enforcement of all building code practices, performing closeout and project turnover. I handled all of the submittals, contracts, schedules, and budgets, I also prepared initial budgetary numbers involved with the overall cost to complete the project for our Clients approval. I built a variety restaurants and multi use buildings.
2002-2003 Project Superintendent~T.I. Services/S.C. Anderson Co. Inc. (Bakersfield, CA)
Ran all jobs from startup to submittals to subcontracts, execution of work and quality control. Maintained good working relations with Client’s needs and requirements. Performed all necessary budget revisions, change orders, and any other buy-outs to make jobs successful for both the client and my employer. And while I was the on site Superintendent, I was also the project safety administrator for a very intense industrial large scale project, (N.E. Bakersfield Water Treatment Plant). I ran many School projects and Modernizations for S.C. Anderson while there, I have quite a bit of DSA experience.
2001-2002 Tenant Improvement Superintendent~JTS Construction (Bakersfield, CA)
Responsibilities included running T.I.’s from large to small, including but not limited to a large Pharmacy T.I., a large Engineering firm T.I., completely remodeling the upstairs of a landmark Building in Bakersfield, Ca., another large scale engineering T.I., the Ca. Division Of Oil And Gas T.I., 2 interior T.I’s of Fidelity National Title, the Nuevo Energy TI., a Career Services Center T.I., and I remodeled an old blood bank into a foster care facility. On all of these projects I maintained site supervision of all trade work, code compliance, and quality control. After 9/11, we slowed so I became the:
Site Superintendent~JTS Construction (Bakersfield, CA)
Finish Superintendent at modular unit production facility overseeing the construction of modular classrooms, including everything from the ground-up.
1999-2001 Tenant Improvement Superintendent ~M.D. Atkinson, Inc. (Bakersfield, CA)
Responsibilities included supervising Tenant Improvements ranging in size from small two-room offices to overseeing a Vons conversion into an Orchard Supply Hardware Store. Supervised the T.I of a “Grocery Outlet†from an empty space to completion. Handled all site supervision as well as enforced building code compliance and quality control.
1996-1999 Maintenance Superintendent~ Cambridge Village Apartments (Bakersfield, CA)
Sole person responsible for maintenance and renovation of a 360-unit luxury apartment complex. Performed appliance and electrical repair and or replacement, plumbing, drywall, windows, finish carpentry, exterior siding replacement, selective HVAC replacement, overhauling the landscaping, and updating the Fire sprinkler system. I also supervised the maintenance, painting and clean-up crews.
1995-1996 Assistant Property Manager~Coopers Glen Apartments (Olympia, WA)
Interim manager for 170-unit apartment complex with regular on-call duties. Performed regular maintenance including interior and exterior painting and plastering, carpet/flooring installation, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, insulation, and final cleaning of all residences. While working at Coopers Glen, the apartment complex was undergoing a major renovation as each unit became vacant. One of my job duties was to oversee this process and make sure it was done correctly.
1994-1995 Foreman~Renovators Inc. (Olympia, WA)
Responsible for supervision of construction improvements to existing residential buildings. Tasks included: Slab additions, rough framing, drywall, lathe and plaster as well as all other interior and exterior finishes.
