Spearhead facility sighting process, due diligence, envi-ronmental obstacles and local political connections. Implemented procedures that eliminated redundan-cies/inefficiencies, reassigned manpower. Sponsored the development and implementation of a web based EH&S compliance tool that facilitated the management of compliance issues for an entire domestic facility portfolio.
MARKETING: Proactively identified nationwide business opportunities and moved aggressively to secure new project locations and expedite the development process. Thoroughly analyzed strategic and environmental factors in order to negotiate the best possible operating permits. Solicited and negotiated contracts for cost effective third-party assistance based upon competitive analysis, experience and market intelligence. Pioneered and championed new procedures that implemented a data management program that reduced project man-hours by up to 15% or more; Resolved EH&S compliance management issues in multiple facility operations through the development and seamless integration of a web based information management system (MIS); Received refund of EPA EIQ fees for Midwest facilities by changing the Title V status to minor source; Achieved successful permitting for 20 new power generation facilities totaling billions of dollars capital expenditure with “State-of-the-Art†emission control technology to reduce greenhouse gas; Turned “Trash to Cash†by developing power generation equipment that operated on landfill gas which generating over $60 million in equipment sales; Saved over $300,000 in power production sales through working expeditiously with regulatory officials during potential NOV.
