• Sheraton Grand Sacramento, David S. Taylor Interests, Inc., $55,483,432 – Incorporated existing historic building into new hotel’s public spaces. Oversaw extensive shoring operations required while existing interior foundations were removed and lowered while three of the four exterior walls and the roof remained in place. Worked with historians and archeologists during excavation and foundation phase of the project.
• Hilton Baltimore Convention Center Hotel, Baltimore Hotel Corporation, $234,342,183 – Assigned to project after it was three months late upon completion of the foundation phase. Accelerated concrete frame construction and re-sequenced project to achieve on-time completion. Supervised six other superintendents in completing this 800,000-square-foot, 757-room convention center hotel.
• Smithsonian Restoration Barn, Smithsonian Institution, $2,957,731 – Performed all project functions, including submittals, requests for information, payroll, direction self-work, scheduling of subcontractors, maintenance of owner relations, coordination of inspections, punch list completion and owner billings.
• Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art & Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, $171,435,256 - Performed supporting role in expediting work in auditorium and mechanical spaces from rough-in to finish stages in three-months.
• Social Security Administration Operations Building Renovation, General Services Administration, $140,433,201 – Supervised removal of existing lead-glazed brick façade and replacement with precast concrete. Coordinated installation of more than 500 precast panels and exterior glazing, along with installation of new atriums and roofing system in a campus type environment.
• Udvar Hazy National Air & Space Museum – Phase II, Smithsonian Institution, $55,096,000 – Completed project schedule. Directed self-work and overall project flow. Developed interface plans to tie new structure into existing without impacting owner’s ongoing operations.
Area Superintendent:
• OMC Remodel & Additions, United Airlines, $16,000,000 – Scheduled and executed building of 90,000 square feet of structural steel mezzanines in four aircraft bays inside of United Airlines wide body heavy maintenance facility while in operation. Coordinated construction shift work around United Airlines maintenance schedule, with erection schedules from 3 to 9 days around the clock. Attended owner’s daily production briefings to coordinate construction interface with facilities operations and to update them with on construction progress.
• San Rafael Theatre Renovation, Film Institute of Northern California, $3,629,014 – Supervised work as part of a historic renovation with several art deco and classical elements that were repaired and replicated within the new construction. Coordinated with owner’s lead and asbestos contractor, along with the artist restoring historic murals. Worked closely with owner, a non-profit agency that frequently led tours through site as part of its fundraising efforts. Performed all project functions, including submittals, requests for information, payroll, direction of self-work, scheduling of subcontractors, maintenance of owner relations, coordination of inspections, and punch list completion.
Project Engineer:
• Pomona High School – Remodel and Addition, Jefferson County Public Schools, $10,041,000 – Performed all jobsite administration functions, assisted in developing overall project schedule, priced and negotiated change orders with owner and subcontractors and managed owner and subcontractor billings.
• UAL Baggage Right of Way - SFO, United Airlines, $17,000,000 – Oversaw all jobsite administrative functions, set up and tracked costs on cost-plus contract, worked with owner during extensive monthly audits on costs due to the cost plus nature of the contract.
Office Engineer:
• Denver International Airport – Concourse A – Phase II, City and County of Denver, $50,530,265 – Oversaw the structural steel, exterior skin and roof, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection contractors’ submittals, shop drawings, and coordination process. Created as-built schedule at end of project to help settle steel claim.
• P/SL Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, $82,577,871 – Oversaw the request for information process and change order process for the project. The project changed ownership groups three times while under construction and had over $40,000,000 in changes.
Field Engineer:
• CAP Water Treatment Plant, City of Tucson, $69,285,000 – Performed all surveying activities for one of two filter buildings being completed. Laid out all self-work concrete, performed formwork and reinforcing inspections and coordinated pre-pour sign off inspections with owners inspection agency. Worked with foreman to maintain schedule and helped Superintendent develop and maintain three-week look-ahead schedule.

• Health Care Facility, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, MT – Set up building control, laid out foundation system and self work concrete, performed lift drawings and checked submittals during six-month internship.
