I am looking to express my interest in a Construction Management and Superintendent position within your organization. I possess over 20 years experience leading and delivering commercial construction projects. I am a road warrior and willing to travel 100%.
Throughout the last 25 years I have managed various large development projects. These projects have included full management of all phases and complete delivery of large commercial buildings. Included in my background is work with multi-story hotels and resorts, shopping centers, malls, grocery stores, office and warehouse complexes. I oversee the full scope of work including site clean up and landscaping.
I offer a strong background working with complex, multi phase projects. My skill is in coordinating and scheduling jobs to ensure there is never a slowdown in site production. Maintaining excellent relations with city, county, and utility inspectors and local boards is a specialty as well. I ensure there are no glitches in the permitting or bond exoneration processes. The number of subcontractors I have directed varies enormously from project to project, but 25+ subcontractors with over 125 workers is typical for a project. I understand the importance of meticulous planning and provide detailed documentation for all initiatives.
I am highly motivated and enthusiastic construction professional with proven experience and outstanding planning and coordination capabilities. I build effective relationships with customers and officials, instill confidence, and deliver projects in a timely manner.
I welcome a discussion regarding opportunities within your organization that fit my background. As I mentioned before, I am not bound by geography and am accustomed to/ enjoy traveling up to 100%.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Sincerely,
Steven Rodkey
