to July 1990 Plumber Responsibilities included the handling of service calls which varied from boilers, furnace, hot water heaters, clogged drains, and leaking pipes. Also roughed-in plumbing and installed finished fixtures for many new homes and businesses including large boilers by the section.

to March 1991 Fitter Mechanic Layout Person Worked on contracts filled for structural steel bridge supports for the D.O.T. contractors. Duties were to draw, mark, scribe, or layout information obtained from blueprints onto all types of structural bridge parts for cutting, bending, welding, and drilling. Other duties consisted of welding, cutting, burning, crane operations, rigging, and forktruck operator.

to April 1994 Assembly Mechanic Road Man Built and designed paperboard sheeters. Duties consisted of new construction, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing obsolete parts and/or machines.

to May 1999 Pipe Fitter Mechanic Duties included repairing, rebuilding, and fabricating numerous types of gear boxes, pumps, presses, sheeters, rolls, knives, screens, pulpers, and hydraulics. Also repaired jacks, replaced electrical motors, fans, valves, shafts, couplings, and alignments, etc. Other responsibilities included training and supervising repair of mill equipment, and being on-call for mill emergencies and break-downs.
