I am currently a member of Glaziers and Glassworkers Local 558 and Instructor for the Apprenticeship and Safety Training Fund. As you can see from my resume I have extensive experience in the Union Building Trades, with more than 20 years of total experience. I have a diverse range of experience in industrial oil and gas refining and operations, construction, health and safety, instruction, leadership, and management. I have been an instructor for journeyperson enhancement training certification and apprenticeship training. I have performed safety audits and inspections along with intimate tailgate safety talks, and jobsite training for OSHA-30 safety and health compliance. I am currently registered and taking classes at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, Maryland and will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labor Safety and Health.
My duties include responsibility for leading and completing commercial glazing projects within a union environment while maintaining attention to safety and safe work practices. My other duties include serving as an instructor in the continuing education program for journeyperson education.
