2. Westward Ho Retrofit & Remodel – $9,289,608
Completion Date: December 2004 – Phoenix, AZ
2005 Governor’s Heritage Preservation Honor Award
Project consisted of complete interior and exterior renovation The project included architectural remodeling, upgrades to electrical, mechanical, automatic fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems and included a complete new chilled water plant. Site work consisted of parking upgrades, site concrete and minor utilities.
3. El Tovar Hotel Renovation & Site Development – $2,467,810
Completion Date: April 2005 - Grand Canyon National Park, AZ
Project consisted of interior and exterior renovations. Interior work included refurbishing of rooms and upgrades to electrical, mechanical, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. A complete commercial kitchen remodel. The exterior work consisted of new site utilities, septic tank, parking lot paving and striping, site concrete and stonework.
4. Tovera Castle Restoration Abatement – $215,237
Completion Date: September 2005 - Phoenix, AZ
5. Tovera Castle, Restoration Phase II – $1,433,000
Completion Date: December 2008 - Phoenix, AZ
Restoration consisted of two phases. The first involved abatement of lead and asbestos from interior and exterior surfaces. The second was a complete historic restoration of the interior and exterior, including structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical upgrades to bring the building into compliance with current codes.

The project consisted of the following components: site development, potable water well equipping, construction of water storage reservoirs, concrete clarifiers, clarifier underflow pump stations, solid waste processing equipment and pumps, chemical storage and transfer equipment and pumps, coagulation/filtration equipment and pumps, booster pump station equipment and pumps, process piping, yard piping, offsite water transmission mains, electrical, instrumentation, telemetry, process equipment buildings, administration buildings and landscaping.
9. Bright Angel Cabins Remodel & Restoration – $3,600,000
Completion Date: May 2007 - Grand Canyon National Park, AZ
Project consisted of interior and exterior renovations. Interior work included refurbishing of rooms and upgrades to electrical, mechanical, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. The exterior work consisted of new site utilities, septic tank, parking lot paving and striping, site concrete and stonework.
10. MCPRD Visitor Centers and Amphitheaters – $6,346,000
Completion Date: December 2008 - Phoenix, AZ
The final contract amount for this project was less than the initial contract amount.
New construction in virgin desert terrain with appropriate consideration given to salvaging and replanting existing trees, cacti, and vegetation, and site protection via Storm Water Pollution Plans. Construction of prototype LEED silver rated visitor centers and amphitheaters; project consisted of site work, hardscape, landscape, trails, parking lots, site utilities, and all typical building related activities.
