Experience and Strengths:
Over 35 years experience in various fields including Accounting, Office Management and Supervision of Office Personnel. Skills include, but are not limited to, all Microsoft Office products up to 2007, Quick Books, Peachtree, Adobe, Windows XP and 7, calculators, numerous printers, scanners and fax machines. Internet searches and navigation of numerous sites. Federal Government sites included FBO, WAWF and ARRA as well as all individual agency sites. My efficiency and organizational skills have been instrumental in my success.
January 1994-June 2010 Reitmeyer & Associates, Inc.
Federal Government General Contractor, performed projects located in the Continental U.S. and also offered support to other Contractors who lacked the experience of performing Government Contracts. I developed, prepared and implemented the processes that allowed Reitmeyer & Associates along with other Contractors to perform $15 million in Federal Contracts each year with a very limited staff (usually 5 or less employees) which I managed. At the same time I was accounting for all of the owner’s personal finances and travel as well as appointments for all personnel.
Controller responsibilities included Bank Reconciliations, AP, AR, Payroll, Cash Flow, Government Progress Payments, creation and payment of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders and all other accounting related matters. Also WAWF billing, ARRA reporting and preparation of the information needed for CCR and ORCA registrations for owners review.
Office Manager, responsibilities included Supervision and Office Management. Monitored the staff that performed Contract Administration, Estimating. Co-ordinate with field personnel to properly administer the Government contracts for all Corporations. I personally performed Contract Administration and Bid Department duties when we did not have the staff and have hired and trained personnel when required.
Reitmeyer & Associates is now concentrating on nationwide workshops to teach other Contractors the ins and outs of Federal Government Contracting.
In 2004 my husband started his own business, Austin’s Connection Company, an integrator and installer of home theater systems. I am the Controller as well as the Business Manager for that company as well.

Excavation and Underground Utilities Contractor for many of the local General Contractors in the area. My responsibilities for this Corporation were similar in nature to Reitmeyer & Associates.
