I have twenty five years experience in the Professional Civil Engineering, Survey Industry. Commencing with four years in the U.S. ARMY Corps of Engineers, my assignment was to the Division Engineer’s office as the Division Engineers’ Draftsman, 1st Infantry, Fort Riley, Kansas. My experience has been performing civil engineering, design, drafting and surveying in land development projects such as; private residential and commercial properties, state, county and city municipality projects. Executing; Firm Principal, ADOT Consultant reviewer, project management, supervisor, designer, draftsman and surveying positions and skills for plans and related document preparation and approval of; grading and drainage, drainage reports, hydrology retention calculations, earthwork calculations, storm water management pollution prevention, street paving, utilities, signing and striping and necessary construction documentation for development in accordance with International, Military, Arizona Department of Transportation (A.D.O.T.), Maricopa Association of Governments (M.A.G.) and Arizona City municipality standards for project approval to permit Land Development.
I have experience on various personal computer systems and Nikon survey equipment. I have worked with Autocad releases 9 thru 2006, (some 2007) with DCA thru Autodesk Land Desktop 2006 support software, and Microstation versions 3.0 thru 2000i, with Eagle Point support software. I have survey experience as Crew Chief and Rodman utilizing Nikon Theodolite total station equipment in acquiring topography (quick set, assuming 0 elevation, tying pertinent monumentation) for existing and as-built projects.
An example of my duties and skills on a daily basis: when I am given a new project would be to; gather the existing recorded property information-meets and bounds, deed, schedule “b†easements and utilities pertaining, latest field topography from owner or represent, or field survey either running instrument or rod gathering topography. Download site information, input into cad for engineering, design and calculations on retention and earthwork calculations. I have experience submitting Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (A.D.E.Q.) Notice of Intent to Discharge (N.O.I.D.), Engineers Estimates and other project required documents. I coordinate with all project parties to produce quality plan products for engineering approval of all construction documentation.

This included design for community park areas as well as channel design in coordination with company hydrologists. Some other duties were “redlining†grading and drainage, paving, water and sewer and storm sewer construction documents for the cad technician production teams I supervised.
