He implemented the use of Corps of Engineers RMS systems, Primavera Project Management P6.1, internal infrastructure enhancements, and Cost Reporting Improvements.
Mr. Wilson as Operations Branch Manager for Alutiiq, LLC had responsibility for regional Construction Business Development, Contract Oversight and Project Execution in the Southeast and Northeast. Under his leadership, he opened the Huntsville Construction Branch in June of 2006 with zero contract backlog and increased it to $32M by the end of 07 and to a current backlog of well over $100M. Representative construction projects include a 5 year $100M IDIQ Task Order contract at Ft Bragg, a 5 year $150M IDIQ Task Order contract at Ft Drum, $15M Combined Arms Collective Training Range at Ft Drum, $7M Modular Administration Buildings at the CSF Navy Facility in Gulfport, MS. Current projects under sole source negotiations include $20M Border Patrol Stations (2 each) in New York and a $90M Armed Forces Reserve Center in New York. At Alutiiq, Mr. Wilson was responsible for all branch operations including branch and project staffing, annual and periodic budgets, revenue forecasting and new procedure implementation. He opened and oversaw two branch satellite offices in Biloxi, Ms and Slidell, LA. He was key in developing new and successful relationships with Architectural and Engineering Firms and major subcontractors in region.
Mr. Wilson as V.P/Director of Programs and Contracts provided executive program and operations management to Griffon Aerospace. Griffon Aerospace is a full Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Field Operations company specializing in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and composite material design and manufacturing including the design, manufacture and testing of a full scale composite Crew Module (space capsule capable of 3-4 man crew). Mr. Wilson was Deputy Program Manager of the $35 million AMCOM Remotely Piloted Vehicle Target (RPVT) Program in which Griffon manufactures and operates over 600 UAV targets annually. His extensive management experience provided corporate direction, business development, Program Management, and contract review and oversight. He developed and implemented new organizational and corporate structure during company growth from 8 to over 40 employees. He was the corporate sponsor and lead for business development under the US Army AMCOM Express Technical and Programmatic Domains contracting as a teaming subcontractor.
Earlier, for The Shaw Group/Stone & Webster, Mr. Wilson was a Project Controls Manager and Construction Management professional responsible for Project Technical Support, management and oversight of various projects and customers including MSFC, NASA in Alabama, US Sugar Corp in Florida ($100M sugar refinery) and NECDF Chemical Depot, Indiana. His responsibilities included project controls management, contracts and administrative management, construction management, liaison between government and contractor management, planning and schedule analysis, cost estimating, conducting site inspections, developing cost proposals, negotiating Change Requests, providing cost evaluations of contractor proposals and recommendation of contractor progress payments. Prior to joining Stone & Webster, Mr. Wilson held the position of Project Manager, General Plant Manager, and General Contractor. Representative government customers include NASA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Dept of Homeland Security, NAVFAC, Dept of State, and the Veterans Administration.
