Project managed various Structural, Civil and Residential projects ranging from, 50 to 300+ Million dollars. Using reverse Project Management processes, aided in analysis of Development Projects entitlement, engineering and design status
2000 to 2002: Contracts /Subcontracts Administrator, Washington Group
International.
Compiled As built Schedules, Time limes and Cost data for the pursuit of dollar
recovery on various Structural and Civil projects ranging from 16 to 350 Million dollars. Worked with Special Task Force in recovering over 100 million in losses using expertise in scheduling, project management, and problem solving over a two year period by researching case law, General conditions of the project contracts, document control files and Project Schedules to develop viable claims for recovery of lost revenues.
1998 to 2000: Projects Manager, Hawkins-Smith, Boise, Idaho.
Coordinated Engineering design and Construction of 15 Commercial Projects ranging
from 2 to 23 million dollars. Completed three multi-faceted Edwards Theater Projects and an Imax Theater, in Idaho Falls, Nampa and Boise, concurrently, all on time and under budget.
1992 to 1998: Projects Manager, J.R. Simplot Company, S-Sixteen, Columbia
Developments LLC – Boise, Idaho.
Coordinated Engineering design and Construction of pumping stations, Irrigation
water distribution systems, residential, High schools, Middle schools and commercial developments.
With in the first year of assignment to the S-16 group, implemented contract, scheduling and project management systems that increased production from 3 residential phases over a three year period prior to Mr. Kulchak’s tenure, to 7 phases within the first year and a savings of construction costs of 1.5 million.
1988 to 1992: Morrison Knudsen Corporation Inc. – Boise, Idaho.
Lead Construction Engineer, Boise Home Office.
Assisted estimators in various projects from 5 to $200 million. Served on a
six-man task force to resolve contract disputes with client, resulting in a
recovery of $18 million from a $200 million contract.
Project Engineer, Albertson Headquarters Expansion Project, Boise. Set tracking
systems for document control, submittal control, cost control and scheduling.
Coordinated weekly scheduling meeting with the client, updating schedules and
coordinating design changes with the Architect and field crews.
Assistant Scheduling Engineer, Idaho Prison Projects, Boise. Served as assistant
to the Scheduling Engineer, as well as the Project Business Manager. Maintained
Masonry contractor payroll, submittal control, document control, Monthly pay
estimates and updating As-built drawings.
