2007 - 2010 Fire Sprinkler Project Manager / Service Division Manager
DESERT FIRE PROTECTION INC., Las Vegas, Nevada
• Performed a diverse range of responsibilities to include, but not limited to: serving as Senior Project manager of casino, retail and entertainment portion of the new $3 Billion Fontainebleau Casino Mega Resort located on 27 acres. Personally responsible and accountable for $28 million in construction costs; overseeing productivity and performance of 110 fire sprinkler support staff employees, including all change orders, design, purchasing, fabrication, installation, safety, scheduling of construction, as well as equipment and material procurement and delivery; all of which resulting in profitable, efficient and smooth flowing operations.
• Administered and successfully orchestrated design build contracts through enhancing both owner and architect / engineer relationships.
• Due to bankruptcy courts decision to liquidate Fontainebleau Casino, I was relocated to City Center project, and project managed the Convention Center and Mandarin Tower. Upon final completion and opening of City Center I became Division Manager for both the Service and Inspection departments providing supervision for pricing, design, field and safety, including coordination and scheduling of construction delivery and installation.
