Project Manager for various restaurant and commercial projects including, On The Border, Chili’s, Life’s A Beach, Republic Storage, and Kauffman Tire Store. I was responsible for client contact, aided in negotiating contracts and proposals, consultant and contractor coordination . In addition I am often called on for quality control reviews and consult with others in the firm about issues regarding restaurant design and construction.
9-2001 to 1-2004 GHA Architecture/Development, Dallas Texas
Client Manager for major restaurant concepts Ted’s Montana Grill, California Pizza Kitchen and Champp’s Americana. I was the primary client contact for the firm. I was responsible adapting established design elements into various end cap and freestanding structures. From design to coordination with the contractor I had a hands on role in developing plans with the help of as many as six other interns and architects.
11-1994 to 9-2001, John E Wheeler III Architects. Dallas, Texas
As the support person for a 2 man firm I am responsible for developing and maintaining the Cad System utilizing Autocad 12,13,14 and 2002. Along with my cad duties I work side by side with John in designing and developing plans from concept to construction documents for a variety of commercial restaurants including Champp’s Americana, Red Hot and Blue, Mac’s Seafood and Steaks and La Hacienda Ranch just to name a few. About 5% of the work I have done with John has been residential or other commercial.
4-1994 to 10-1994, The Vincent Association, Dallas, Texas
Developed prototype plans for large commercial restaurant groups I developed plans from scratch by documenting drawings from a Papasitos into a bidable set of working drawings.
I was responsible for maintaining the team server and training new team members and insuring that the company cad standards were being utilized in plans being issued by the team.

I began working for Phillip while still in Architecture School. I started out as a draftsman for several architects, I aided in the development of a variety of archetypes including, high-rise office buildings, high-rise luxury residential, and large single family homes.
8-86 to 9-87 WZMH Group Architects, Dallas Texas
I worked as a draftsman both in design and construction documents. I worked with the designers in developing the concept then moved with the projects into construction drawings. I also worked with the marketing department in developing drawings for project proposals.
2-85 to 8-86 Rosewood Properties Inc. Dallas Texas
I was a support person for several staff architects and engineers. I developed concept site plans for retail strip centers. I developed permit and construction plans for both office and retail tenets for numerous properties. I maintained tenant as-built plans and site plan information for over 100 properties.

Worked as a civil and architectural draftsman. I drafted property and subdivision plats, small commercial buildings and small civil engineering construction documents. I also spent a lot of time in the field working with the survey crews doing topography surveys, private resident surveys, commercial building layouts, and highway road and bridge construction.
