I am a Construction Professional and LEED AP with over 27 years of experience in New York City. I am searching for a position as construction professional.
As manager of multiple projects I planned and directed projects from inception through completion. I have experience in managing projects in most construction sectors including high profile cultural and educational projects, high rise new construction of both residential and hospitality projects, as well as high end corporate tenant fit outs (The Banc of America executive office restack and 450 seat trading floor at 9 west 57 street), major retail (the Virgin Megastore Times Square). My role included coordination of consultant teams and regulatory agencies, in this capacity I have interfaced with and reported to both internal and external project stakeholders as well as clients. I offer the on the ground knowledge that comes from ownership of project budget, logistics and schedule, procurement of trade contracts, as well as negotiation and management of major Contracts. Most recently I was a member of the senior management team for the National September 11th Memorial at the World Trade Center.
Please note that in addition to searching for a position with a Construction Company similar to the ones I have held as Senior Project Manager and Executive I am also interested in a position as a Program Manager. As a result of my participation in both the Banc of America fit out program(working with JLL) and the strategic planning, coordination, and reporting for the WTC site, and prior to leaving Bovis I set the personal goal of moving from the CM position proper to owner’s side or Program Management. To this end I completed the suite of on line courses offered by the Project Management Institute on the subject of Program Management.
To my bachelors degree and direct experience in Construction Management is added study of Real Estate Development and Finance at the Pratt Institute Graduate Program in Facilities Management, this in addition to a Certificate in Leadership from the American Management Association.
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my qualifications.
