PROJECT EXECUTIVE – Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort
Joining the Fontainebleau team early, I was deeply involved in preconstruction, including developing and monitoring design schedules, project construction budget, permitting schedule, and integrating the design schedule with projected construction schedule. I worked closely with the resort management staff, design and engineering consultants in this complicated design-build, design-assist construction delivery technique. Once under construction, as Project Executive for the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort I was directly responsible for the project team, project management and supervision, for the construction of the Garage, Convention Center, Central Plant and Site development, both on-site and off-site. Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a multi-faceted $2.5 billion Las Vegas Strip resort. The Fontainebleau Resort was designed to and was being constructed to LEED Silver Standards.
CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT / DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
As Vice President for ADT Construction Group, operationally I was responsible for all aspects of construction activities including client interaction, project team coordination and supervision, including estimating functions, subcontractor bids, negotiation and writing of contracts, establishing and monitoring schedules, project completions, negotiation of change orders and project cost controls. On a corporate level, I was responsible for work in progress reports, projected revenues, monitoring of accounts payable, establishing and meeting revenue goals. Annual volume exceeded $30 million of hotel resort remodel and renovations.
PROJECTS DIRECTOR / CHIEF ESTIMATOR
As Chief Estimator for Beers/Skanska Construction Company, I was responsible for all estimating functions for the Las Vegas office. Conceptual estimates and hard dollars bids ranged from Resort Casino projects to remodel and renovation projects. Beers/Skanska Construction Company also bid and preformed work as a concrete subcontractor for complex structural work and high-rise concrete structures. As Projects Director I was responsible for estimating, pre-construction and start-up of selected major projects. Annual volume of work in place exceeded $100 million
VICE PRESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER
As Vice President and General Manager of B. H. Miller Contractors, I was responsible for the company’s operations and marketing in Las Vegas, Nevada. B. H. Miller Contractors specializes in development work including tilt-up concrete, wood frame, and masonry construction of shell buildings and provides complete tenant build-out of office, commercial, and retail space. Annual volume was approximately $10 million.

As Senior Project Manager for J. A. Tiberti Const. Co., Inc., and other companies, I have successfully managed projects exceeding $170 million in value. These projects include both new construction and expansion/remodel of business, commercial, convention and hotel/casino structures, while working with private clients, as well as local government and the Corps of Engineers. Contracting methods include; lumps sum, cost plus with GMP, construction management, and design build. Responsibilities include; owner/contractor relations, project team coordination and supervision, negotiating and writing of contracts, establish and monitor schedules and budgets, negotiation of change orders and cost control. Notable projects include Expansion and Renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Fiesta Hotel/Resort, and the Orleans Resort Hotel.
SENIOR ESTIMATOR
As Senior Estimator, I have had full estimating responsibility for projects exceeding $40 million in value. These projects have included conceptual estimates, budgetary estimates for design build projects, and most projects having a primary focus on lump sum bids.
SUPERINTENDENT
As Superintendent, I have supervised projects to $12 million in value. Projects include public works, commercial, office and retail. All projects were completed on time and within budget. I have held Class A Supervisors Certification in Colorado.
