NORDAHL MEDICAL CENTRE
San Marcos, CA
$6.6 million dollars
57,000 sf concrete tilt up building Core, shell and site improvements on over five acres of land. Lot required demolition of old residential use and mitigation of soils. Improvements of the streets around the property including new signals, crosswalks, ADA modifications while maintaining auto and pedestrian traffic. The building will house future medical offices and doctor’s suites. The project was managed under a GMP contract with shared savings and through successful buyout, negotiations, and management, a 3% savings was realized for the team.
GUARANTY BANK REGIONAL OFFICE
Hemet, CA
$4.3 million dollars
13,000 sf wood and steel framed building Two story ground up wood-frame bank building and on and offsite improvements. The first floor is the bank branch with a drive thru, elevator lobby and restrooms. The second floor consists of twelve corporate offices, training room, conference room and restrooms for their regional headquarters. The project required expanding Highway 74 and working closely with Caltrans and the City of Hemet Public Works Engineering Department. The bank was finished early and the road work was completed with minimal disruption to the surroundings businesses and community.

82,000 sf structural steel building Three story steel structure core and shell building with on an offsite improvements. This building was constructed in between two existing occupied Class A commercial office buildings. Maintaining access for tenants and businesses was critical as well as mitigating the impacts of construction. The project was managed under a GMP contract with shared savings and through successful buyout, negotiations, and management, the owner realized over a 5% savings up front before the project started.

26,000 sf Bio-tech TI Design-build Biotech facility with a class 10,000 clean room and all associated office and support facilities. Clean room was completed early for validation. Involved extreme coordination with all disciplines (out of state ownership, construction manager, architect, and separate MEP consultants) to complete. Scope of work changed numerous times throughout the design and construction phase and project was still delivered on time.

Job was in an extremely remote location of Arizona and was successfully managed from San Diego with minimal trips to the project increasing the profit made by not spending travel and overhead budgets.

Law office tenant improvement Law office and spec suite tenant improvement in an occupied Class A office building. Project was on an upper floor and coordination with tenants and construction was crucial. Project was completed on a very tight schedule and budget.
HIGHWAY 74 EXPANSION
Hemet, CA
$530 thousand dollars
New road, utility, and traffic signal construction Project consisted of expanding and widening the existing highway to support increased traffic due to the turn lane and intersection expansion. The structural section was modified extensively to meet current guidelines. Area of removal was 80,000 sf, and grind overlay of 45,000 sf. Upgrade was made of the existing signal lights and installation of two new signal lights as part of the expansion. New street lighting and walkway lighting were also added, which required major underground work including boring underground for conduits across and along highway to adjacent intersection 5,000 feet away. Additions of lighting control panels and meter panels were provided. New sidewalks were added along Florida per the scenic highway guidelines and the landscaping and beautification requirements of the City of Hemet. Emphasis on the coordination between Caltrans, city officials and numerous subcontractors resulted in an on time and on budget delivery of the project.
CAWSTON & ACACIA STREET IMPROVEMENTS

New road construction and utility work Cawston - Extension of approximately 50,000 sf of new street, consisting of major sub grade preparation at a significant structural section of asphalt over base. Added entries to new bank and existing businesses were provided. Signage and striping to meet city of Hemet standards were met and new street lighting was installed.
Acacia - Expansion of existing street to provide new deceleration and acceleration lanes to new Cawston street extension. Project included removing and or relocating 5 power (Edison) poles, extensive utility underground work for Verizon, Time Warner, EMWD (water), and sewer. Grind/overlay of approximately 10,000 sf of lane and resurface. All proper signage and striping included as well as new entries to existing buildings.

There was approximately $15 million dollars of soils and ground remediation performed. Traffic barricades and pedestrian control, storm water pollution prevention, and dust control management were high priority items successfully managed during the construction phases.
