Poletti 500MW Power Plant, Astoria, NY– PCM duties and coordinate work among multiple
disciplines (A/E, MEP, QA/QC, Safety) & owner’s rep.; material in generating
the baseline schedule and in the planning and scheduling daily work activities;
generated all schedule updates (usingP3 & Expedition) including all monthly
progress reports; instrumental in the preparation of means and methods, JSAs,
and work submittals; prepared quantity take offs and cost estimates for potential
change orders and participated in the negotiation of change orders; tracked
costs and budget status including preparing pencil copies of monthly payment
requisitions;. The scope of work (SOW)
is for the replacement of two (2) existing 6 M gals ASTs (#6 fuel oil) and
associated piping with two (2) new 3 M gals ASTs (kerosene) including the
installation of new 3,000’ of 16†Ø piping from a kerosene loading dock, and the
installation of 1,200’ of 5†Ø fire protection piping, 1,400’ of 14†Ø of
natural gas piping, instrumentation and modification of electrical system. The SOW also included prerequisite critical
activities such as: isolation of tanks and piping (hot taps, liquid nitrogen
freeze plugs, inflatable balloon plugs, weld caps), cleaning of existing tanks
and piping, ACM abatement, demolition of existing tanks, waste Mgmt, electrical
power and control system including site preparation for the new work- $21M with
Union Labor, (12/02-01/05).
Public Facilities – Project
Manager, G Construction Enterprises LLC, 2010-Present:

Islip, Sayville, Hauppaug Union Free School Districts – Performed PM duties (schedule daily work activities, plan
manpower, order material for work, prepare and negotiate all change orders,
prepare monthly payment requisitions) for the renovation and addition of space
at various school districts. The SOW is for masonry work and installation of steel lintels
over doors and widows including the installation of hollow frame doors and all
reinforcements and flashings- $.5 M with Union Labor, (5/10-09/10).

Officer, STV Construction Mgmt Services, 2000-2002:

NY City Public Schools – Performed
PCM duties (schedule daily work activities, plan manpower, order material for
work, prepare and negotiate all change orders, prepare monthly payment
requisitions & monthly progress reports) for the installation of new
boilers, oil tanks, climate control and hot water systems at NY City public
schools under a NYSCA CM Requirements Contract for Boiler Conversions. The SOW also included selective demolition,
ACM abatement on piping, construction of new chimneys, oil tank rooms and gas
meter rooms- $24 M, (12/00-12/02).

FDNY,
Rehabilitation of two (2) Fire Stations, Engine and Ladder Company– Performed PCM duties (schedule daily work activities,
plan manpower, order material for work, prepare and negotiate all change
orders, prepare monthly payment requisitions & monthly progress reports)
under a DDC CM Build Requirements Contract in NY City. The SOW included
demolition, new roof, overhead doors, doors, windows and a new parking lot,
masonry restoration, apparatus floor replacement, rehabilitation of interior
spaces, installation of new HVAC systems and the installation of wet pipe
sprinklers and new electrical power service- $4 M, (3/00-12/00).
Railroad Facilities –
Project Document Control Engineer, STV Incorporated, 1998-2000:

The
MTA LIRR East Side Access Project– Provided Document Control services during the Conceptual and
Preliminary Engineering Design phases for the Joint Venture between STV and
Parsons Brinkerhoff on the MTA LIRR East Side Access Project, a railroad and
tunneling project through bedrock below the east river, involving rehabilitation
of existing tunnels, the reconfiguration of Grand Central Terminal and LIRR
Station at Sunny Side in NY City. Monitored
project status (budgets and commitments, manpower, design schedules, invoices
and payment reqs, PCOs, DBE participation) by design package. Tracked submittals, contractual open issues
and critical items to advance designs.
Prepared monthly contract financial summaries of payments, receipts and
projections-$2.3 B, (2/99-3/00).

DCA,
Installation of Fire Suppression and Fire Detection Systems- Performed PCM duties (schedule daily work activities,
plan manpower, prepare and negotiate all change orders, prepare monthly payment
requisitions and monthly progress reports) under a DCA CM Build Contract for fifty-eight
buildings at three NJ. State operated Developmental Centers for the emotionally
and physically impaired clients -$10 M, (6/98-2/99).
Airports – Environmental
Project Engineer, Lehigh GIT contract with PANY&NJ, 1994-1998
PANY&NJ: Conducted
environmental baseline assessments, instrumental in the establishment of Right
of Ways for land acquisition, preparation of solid waste Mgmt work-plan, development
of De-watering Plan and HASP. Provided
environmental engineering contract DWGS and Specs; and performed regulatory
compliance activities on the following projects:

Extension
of a monorail system 1.8 miles from Newark Airport to a NJ Transit rail line
off-site- $250 M, (2/96-7/97).
·
Construction
of a 8.4 mile Airtrain Light Rail System at JFK with 10 stations linking the
airport terminals, car rental facilities, parking areas and the NY City transit
network- $1.5 B, (1/95-3/96).

Construction
of a three story parking structure at JFK - $45 M, (1/96-7/96).

Removal
and closure of various USTs at JFK- $200,000, (7/94-7/98).

Extension
of an existing runway at Newark Airport 3,000’ including the construction of a

of a groundwater remediation system at JFK which involved the construction of a
Dual Phase High Vacuum Vapor Extraction Remediation System to clean-up

Pharmaceutical/ Chemical Manufacturing Plant – Field
Project Engineer, Lehigh GIT CM
contract with Merck & Co., 1990-1994:
Field Oversight as owner’s
rep (schedule daily work activities, plan manpower, order material for work,
prepare and negotiate all change orders with contractors, prepare monthly
progress reports) on the following projects:

Installation
of five (50 kV) power substations, duct-banks and manholes including a motor
control center and replacement of power and lighting panels - $1.5 M, (1/90-12/93).

of a 100’ chimney for an existing trash incinerator - $1.0 M, (1/90-12/93).

of a pump station and waste water sewer system - $1.0 M, (1/90-12/93).

Coordinated
a RCRA Facility Investigation (RFI). The
primary tasks included: performing GPR, soil gas survey and aerial photo review
to verify and identify solid waste Mgmt units and geological features; locating

and groundwater samples and waste Mgmt; performing slug and aquifer pump
testing; conducting daily contractor safety meetings; and controlling field and

of six – 2,000 gallon fuel oil USTs and retrofitting an existing one million
gallon AST to handle waste water from the RFI- $160,000, (1/90-12/93).

Monitored
the implementation of a NJDEP approved work-plan, under an MOA, to investigate
the impact of fuel oil discharges from USTs at a laboratory facility in
NJ. The SOW included: site
characterization, installing test-holes, monitoring wells and recovery wells,
sampling of soil and groundwater and performing slug and aquifer pump-tests-
$200,000, (1/94- 07/94).
