Qualifications
23 years as project superintendent and 5 years as construction manager with experience primarily in hospital, retail and multifamily housing construction. Knowledgeable of all building codes including safety and interim life safety. Experienced with all aspects of building techniques.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain project cost, material and labor control.
Management of field office operations.
Clearing of jobsite including demolition when applicable.
Direct supervision and coordination of subcontractors and all other job related trades.
Direct interaction and coordination with architects and engineers as well as state and local inspectors.
General contractor’s communicative liaison between owner and/or management representatives.
Compile and submit shop drawings and material samples to architects/engineers for approval; keep as-builts current.
Conduct weekly jobsite progress meetings.
Coordinate safety meetings.
Direct involvement in subcontractors pay request and pay distribution.
Coordination and installation of owner-furnished equipment (when applicable)
Keep current compliance of architect field requests and change orders.
Renovate occupied spaces with minimal interruption to existing operations.
ADA alterations.
Follow all Life Safety and Interim Life Safety codes.
Knowledgeable of all aspects from ground-up to completion.
