Vice President/Director of Construction and Development/Facilities: Conferred with CEO to indentify and secure new locations for branches and offices. Oversaw approval of zoning and code compliance permits for construction of new and existing sites. Supervised acquisition of environmental and feasibility studies, prepared site design and layout, purchased all commodities, and supervised on site construction. Managed complete turn-key operation. Created and supervised Facilities Department.

Construction Project Manager: Managed the construction of new retail stores, ranging in size from 25,000 to 100,000 sq ft, including stores in New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and North Carolina, as well as a retail location in Puerto Rico. Interfaced with various departments, such as purchasing, loss prevention and store planning to ensure compliance with goals related to store appearance and merchandising objectives.
· Managed renovations and tenant fit-outs of retail stores, self-developed projects, small remodels and turn-key facilities and conferred with senior management on construction to discuss goals and deadlines.
· Provided on site leadership to ensure construction of new and existing sites were completed and opened on time.

Regional Construction Manager: Oversaw the development of all types of Eckerd stores, including free-standing locations and pad-type stores in shopping malls, in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, as well as in Florida, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and eastern North Carolina. Stores ranged in size from 12,000 to 75,000 sq ft.
· Managed budgets and contract negotiations with construction companies.
· Conferred with developers to secure approval for construction from local municipalities.
· Maintained positive relationships with various architectural and engineering firms to ensure construction plans complied with company’s goals, objectives and specifications.
