CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER, HDR, Inc.,
Guided heavy civil construction projects for construction management and general contracting company. Orchestrated project estimating, bidding, and award processes and project managed construction including subcontractor / vendor identification, scheduling, budgets, and audits / inspections.
· Spearheaded completion of $36M Fruitridge Road Lift Station and Pipeline project that included 2 lift stations and 9 miles of gravity and force main sewer pipelines ranging in size from 6†– 102†using RCP and HDPE pipe with installation depths from 3’ to 46’. Project also had 4 railroad crossings and water line relocations, service connections, and roadway construction.
· Achieved successful estimating and award of Fruitridge Road Lift Station and Pipeline project, interfacing with Project Engineer and owner on design-build basis for system build-out and completion. Generated cost savings of $1.5M for owner through efficient management of resources, completing project on time.
· Led design / construction of $35M 4.0 MGD Water Treatment facility including 3 major and 16 minor ground water wells, completing project 7 weeks ahead of schedule and 2% under anticipated budget. Prior to being assigned to project, work had been $4M over budget and 12-weeks behind schedule due to metal costs and procurement issues.
