Design Associates International, Dallas, TX Project Architect/Project Manager, Facilities Management, 2010 * Coordinated and presented status update to team members on 9 Dallas Independent School District (DISD) Bond projects including documenting modifications that were used by engineers for accurate completion of project. * Directed each phase of cost estimates and modifications and coordinated outlines, item details, budget, narratives, and check lists from the consultants. Coordinated bond package mandates and additional requests from school principals, the school district, and the project managers, Jacobs and Aecom, which insured all changes, were included in the completed project.
* Evaluated existing conditions of Dallas Independent School District schools and support buildings to determine previously completed work and changes in priorities and updated bond package drawings, budgets and descriptive reports based on budgetary restraints. Work modifications included painting, roofing, windows, exterior doors, civil designs of parking, evaluated flooding conditions, sprinkler systems, paving playground equipment and bus lanes, stage lighting and moveable panels, structural damage due to drainage and settlement, accessibility requirements, security of lock down requirements, fire alarm and security systems, DISD control MEP and redesign of systems, acoustical treatment at media room, elevator refurbishment and replacement. * Generated alternate pricing by creating designs and conducting field inspection with client and MEP of high tech University department within a historical Downtown Dallas building integrating low lighting at open office area, marker boards, construction documents indicating painting exposed painted brick walls or an alternate indicating furred out drywall, salvaging portions of the historical cove trim at the open office area, created a secure computer room and indicated flooring alternatives. * Coordinated with city of Dallas building officials of Downtown University space to determine the restroom count requirements researched and determined that the building was exempt from the code.
Morris Architects, Los Angeles, CA Project Architect, Associate, 2008 * Coordinated with engineers, consultants and architectural staff for GardenWalk Hotel including MEP designs of the mechanical systems for ventilation of the equipment in the garage with structural, industrial laundry, restaurants kitchen and a built-up pool deck on the existing mall building roof with engineers, consultants and staff. GardenWalk Hotel Project is 466 rooms, 11 stories high, with 36,000 sq ft meeting rooms, $4.5 million dollar project, and one of the two hotel towers designed simultaneously. * Reviewed exiting requirements plan using Revit (BIM) model and coordinated with RAS specialists to provide proper exiting design for code including determination of door sizes and building exit routes. * Observed existing field conditions of adjacent and abutting GardenWalk Retail project. Coordinated ventilation of garage with city officials and evaluated impact of exhaust at breezeway behind adjacent restaurant and at entry to newly designed hotel considering the height and the velocity of the exhaust on pedestrian traffic and adjacent abutting buildings. * Integrated Kay Lang and Associates interior designs into the Revit (BIM) model including a grand stair in the lobby, paneled ceilings, decorative wall treatments for the meeting rooms and guest rooms illustrating Disney franchiser branding on the exterior and interior of project. * Participated in monthly meeting presentations that included12 consultants, franchiser and owners, and developed meeting reports that ensured successful project development.
Friedmutter Group, Newport Beach, CA Project Architect, 2006-2008
* Team architect on 20+ team of Revit BIM model of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Casino project - $3.9 billion, 3,000 condo-hotel rooms, 150,000 sq ft of convention and meeting spaces, 75,000 sq ft casino, 300,000 sq ft retail, restaurant and entertainment space, 1,800 seat theatre. Project opened in 2009. * Part of 15 member Friedmutter Revit group team from Newport Beach and Las Vegas Revit multi file project which included garage, condo, hotel, casino, ceilings, storefront, upper deck, theatre. Created Revit families and sweeps of interior tile wainscot and trim finishes, ceiling, lighting and toilet fixtures. * Coordinated designs from two interiors groups, Dougall Design Associates and Deusing and Partners on the special treatments for casinos, restrooms, hotel lobby, and retail corridors and applied Accessibility codes as required to the designs. * Managed and trained three interiors personnel in Revit room names. Finish schedules and molding sweeps. * Produced Quechan Revit model; created models of theme restaurants with ornate bars, rounded irregular shapes for coved lighting conditions and Revit modeled seating booths. * Created and uploaded pdf file mark ups of outsourced lighting, security cameras, air diffuser and exhaust drawings for Friedmutter Group India outsourced Revit “Bim†drawings. * Created freehand sketches of designs of new Harrah’s casino elevator door panel, and designs for new lighting fixture. * Created color board and selected finishes for Harrah’s Indiana lobby remodel.

* AutoCAD presentations of $100 million+, 50,000 sq ft + palace in Dubai created for approval by the Sheika including ornate moldings in every room, panel designs and intricate ceiling coves, ornate paneling of multiple majli for entertaining, mural designs on the walls and ceilings of indoor swimming pools, ornate column capital design, encased decorative beams and vaulted ceilings at grand entry with two curved grand stairways with a pilaster decorated storefront with a view to the exterior courtyard, vaulted colonnade with perimeter columns and walkway at exterior courtyard, decorative lighting sconces and chandeliers in bedrooms, proportionately paneled walls for the entire palace, audio visual consultant studies for five step theatre speaker and video design, elaborate vaulted entrances at the main public areas and interconnecting corridors. * Created Ritz Carlton Restaurant and lobby hand rendered AutoCAD preliminary design presentation for WA designer.

* Drafted AutoCAD construction documents of 5 high profile Bank of America Wealth Management offices with $500,000 + 9,000 sq ft office and approximately 20 tenant finish out projects.
