Project Description: The project is four new buildings including a three-story housing dorm, kitchen, infirmary and clinic as well as a video visitation building; associated infrastructure along with renovation of the existing facility. The new buildings add 160,000 SF and 855 beds within the secure perimeter of the existing campus. The construction of these building was achieved by utilizing a tilt slab structure for the housing dorm, filling in an existing courtyard to provide infirmary and clinic space as well as pre-engineered metal buildings for the kitchen and video visitation.
