Assist with Maintenance and Landscape divisions for bidding, estimating, service requests, cleanups, flower bed preparation, and follow ups. Additionally, some experience with irrigation service and repair. Southern Landscape Group purchased Outdoor Environments, Inc.’s maintenance and spray divisions in 2005.

Developed in-house lawn care program for 500+ accounts, including commercial and residential accounts. Specific responsibilities included scheduling, routing, estimating/bidding for turf fertilization, weed control, and tree and shrub insect and disease control.

Managed the chemical program for all properties maintained by the company. Responsibilies included ordering chemicals and fertilizers, diagnosing disease and weed control problems on turf, and diagnosing insect and disease control problems on ornamental and trees. Additionally, maintained chemical application records, and maintained spray trucks and tanks. (1997-1998 assumed additional responsibilities of Maintenance Division Manager.)

Grounds Manager, Green Thumb Enterprises, Inc.
Managed grounds maintenance for Riverside Office Park, a 400+ acre developed industrial office park. Responsibilities included supervision of a grounds maintenance crew to perform all aspect of grounds maintenance, irrigation, fertilization and pesticide spray programs, and all equipment maintenance. Reported to the Operations Manager. Company was sold.

Owner, Southern Lawn Renovation
Operated a landscape maintenance/installation company servicing commercial and residential contracts. Maintenance included all aspects of ground maintenance, semi-annual flower bed installation programs, pesticide spray programs, and necessary plant replacements. Landscape installations include design for new and existing landscapes. Troubleshoot and diagnose plant problems. Additional responsibilities include job planning and budgeting, submitting bids for potential contracts, purchasing plant material and equipment, and billing and staffing. Business sold.
