Area President
Direct report to the Region President with responsibility of overseeing five direct report managers in a business operation generating $60-$85 million dollars in revenue.
• Opened strategic new business operation in Frederick, Maryland. Assembled a team of 53 associates. Obtained additional land position and showed a profit in the first year.
• Implemented systems to effectively monitor sales contingencies, deposits, permits, housing starts, days under construction, capture rate, and customer satisfaction all of which created synergy within the team supporting the goal of being the best.
• Exceeded business plan for contracts and deliveries in a declining market during the 2007 fiscal year.
• Merged two business operations to begin the 2008 fiscal year providing additional leadership and Best Practices to a consolidated group of 116 Associates during a turbulent time.
• Reorganized to one business unit in the middle of the 2008 fiscal year and maintained stability with retained associates. Transitioned from Area President to MD Division VP of Sales and Marketing.
• Reduced inventory level from $148 million to $80 million during the difficult 2008 fiscal year.
• Finalized 2008 fiscal year with 400 net sales, 394 starts and 561 Deliveries, customer recommendation of 96.88% and a mortgage capture rate of 86.80%.
Gemcraft Homes, Forest Hill, Maryland 2003-2005

• Established partnerships with local developers, attorneys, engineers and land sellers cultivating a streamlined process for obtaining a stronger land position.
