Construction Manager
Responsible for managing multi-million dollar municipal facility construction projects from universal play ground equipment to municipal facilities. Duties include coordination of owners, inspectors, contractors and designers. Worked with Building & Safety to obtain certificates of occupancy, chaired weekly construction meetings, answered RFI's, made electrical design changes to comply with field conditions, authored change orders, created schedules and cost estimates. Most projects were delivered on budget and on time.

Construction Manager / Engineer
Managed the design and construction of the communications system for the Los Angeles City Hall Seismic Retrofit Project, a three-year, $8 million project encompassing an estimated 750,000 usable square feet for returning City employees back to City Hall. Responsibilities included supervising cable technician, managing electrical and communications consultants and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and LEED design. Duties included preparing budgets, developing schedules, hiring workers, managing construction, responding to RFI's, CO, estimating, and constructing new communication system in existing historical building. Coordinated work between the City's communication and the general contractor for cable horizontal distribution. Managed technical support to purchase, install and setup communications system. Responsible for coordinating the communications systems for the relocation of over 1,500 City employees.

Construction Manager / Engineer
Project manager from conception to completion of electrical and communication systems for the relocation of Los Angeles City Hall tenants, phases I and II. Responsibilities included relocating 2,800 City employees from City Hall to ten locations within the City and in leased locations over 18 months with a communication budget of $22 million. Duties included writing the scope of work, evaluating RFQ's to hire architect to design tenant space, directing the design and construction work from space plan to completion of construction and relocating staff. The relocation of City employees was completed on budget and on time. Other tasks included safety monitoring and training and building evaluation coordinator. Chaired weekly meetings with 40 to 50 City employees.
