To obtain a top management or director position in project design/build or facility management.
I currently hold the position of Assistant Director of Facility Operations, Construction & Real Estate of a 300,000 square foot facility and smaller satellite facilities, successfully overseeing 100+ staff members, including Directors, Managers, Union Supervisors, Line Staff, and Office Administrators with an operating budget. I personally manage the annual Capital Budget of Construction and Modernization Projects for our multiple locations, including all projects funded through City, State, & Federal Capital Grants.
I directly oversee all contractor procurement, development of RFP’s and Bid Analysis, contract and lease negotiations, project scheduling and budgets, and requests for payment.
On the Facility Operations side, I currently oversee all building systems, HVAC, fire & life-safety, CCTV/security, etc., along with quality assurance in housekeeping and porter services.
I am currently expected to actively participate in executive board committee meetings and functions.
My education and background is in Architecture and Construction Management. I bring an energetic attitude and joyful disposition that encourages unity and loyalty to the workplace and the institution.
