DFI Construction was incorporated to construct 5 Ethanol Plants in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Bill Horton the Chief Executive Officer of the DFI Group holding company hired me. I was hired for the expertise in constructing several ethanol plants at the other firms that I work at in the past. I also am the record holder for the company contracting licenses.

As President of Borton, Inc., my responsibilities were for the overall operations of the corporation, business development and to see that all of our projects are brought in on schedule, within budget and to the client's satisfaction. All engineering, estimates, bid preparation, scheduling, quality control, and field supervision were prepared by my staff under my supervision. Our experience mod number was reduced from 1.54 to .64 during my leadership. Our work volume was $41 million in 96, $58 million in 95 and $35 million in 94. The corporation turns a profit for the first time in 5yrs in 1994. Some of our projects were as follows:
