As Executive Director I have been responsible for the financial health of the
organization, the implementing of business management policies and procedures, and trimming the operations budget by 30%, as well as the overall management of the historic restoration and assuring the future of the membership supported non-profit.
I wrote and implemented the organizations first strategic plan which was instrumental in raising major funding for ongoing operations and retirement of the restoration debt.
I established ongoing historic programming and high visibility marketing programs, which created a 200% growth in membership. Among the programs I established are a system of area tours, museum programs and exhibits, a speaker bureau and a co-operative program sharing policy with other Jewish museums in the Southwest. I wrote and initiated a Board policy manual, which enabled the fledgling Board to take ownership of the non-profit in a positive pro-active manner, achieving 100% Board participation.
